About the Role
As
Membership Lead
, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our members are well supported, engaged, and represented – while driving membership growth and shaping the future of NCF's offer.
Reporting to the Policy Director, this is a unique opportunity to build relationships across a dynamic national network of social care leaders and to help evolve our membership model to meet the changing needs of the sector.
You'll work closely with colleagues across policy, communications, partnerships, digital, and events to deliver high-quality experiences for members and create opportunities for learning, collaboration, and influence.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver a strategy to grow and retain NCF's membership.
* Coordinate and enhance our Communities of Practice – including themed forums, networks, and webinars.
* Use our CRM system to capture and analyse member data, helping us shape future membership offers.
* Oversee the end-to-end membership process, from recruitment to onboarding and ongoing engagement.
* Manage and improve membership communications – website, newsletters, and social media.
* Work with partners and the wider NCF team to create opportunities that add value for members.
* Support and promote the impact of NCF and our members across the care and support sector.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
* Passionate about social care and the not-for-profit sector.
* A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
* Skilled in using
CRM systems
and data to inform decisions.
* Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
* Experienced in membership engagement, policy, or stakeholder relations.
* Creative, curious, and excited by the opportunity to shape NCF's growing membership community.
Desirable skills include experience in digital communications, event coordination, or creative design.
