Our client, who resides in Hyde Park, is looking for an experienced and professional Live-in Butler to work alongside the current household staff in a formal household.
The ideal candidate will offer seamless support in all aspects of personal service and day-to-day coordination. This is a part-time residence, and the family are looking for somebody who can ensure the smooth running of the house when they are not in residence.
Duties to include:
1. Meeting and greeting guests
2. All aspects of food and drink service for lunch and dinner parties
3. Inventory and stock management
4. Care for silver, china, crystal, art
5. Table settings / floral arranging
6. Running household errands
7. Management of the house – liaising with tradesmen etc
8. Valeting, packing and unpacking
9. Wardrobe management, ironing, polishing shoes etc
Candidate Requirements:
10. Positive attitude
11. Flexibility
12. Available to work weekends
13. At least 8-10 years’ experience in private households with verifiable references
Accommodation: Separate bedroom with en-suite in the main residence
Salary: Please present salary expectation
Working Days: 5 days per week
Working hours: 8.00am-5.00pm when the principal is not in residence, flexible hours when principal is in residence
