Technical Account Manager
Field Based - Scotland
Office Base in Glasgow
£55,000-£60,000 DOE + commission
Are you a BEMS professional ready to step off the tools and into a client-facing role? We're working with a well-established building controls specialist who is expanding their Scottish team, offering a unique opportunity to combine technical expertise with commercial growth.
This role is ideal for engineers with 5+ years' experience in BEMS, who want to move into account management and sales without losing touch with the technical side of the business. You'll be working across Scotland managing an existing portfolio of accounts while helping to grow new business.
What You'll Do
Manage a portfolio of service and project accounts
Act as the main point of contact for clients, following up on engineer visits and ensuring issues are resolved promptly
Identify opportunities for system upgrades, improvements, and future projects
Produce technical proposals, estimates, and forecasts
Build strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and end users
Contribute to account strategy, business reviews, and growth initiatives
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer servicewith flexibility to work from home.
What We're Looking For
5-10 years hands-on BEMS experience
Relevant electrical or mechanical qualifications
Strong technical knowledge of building energy management systems
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
Passion for technology and delivering solutions
Full UK driving licence
Previous sales experience is not essential, the focus is on technical credibility and the desire to grow commercially.
