Night Practitioner salary: £25,145.12 - £27,727.70 per annum (dependent on experience). Location: The Old Vicarage, Swinderby (10 miles from Lincoln).
Join Our Team as a Night Practitioner at The Old Vicarage Residential Home. We are seeking dedicated Night Practitioners to become a valued part of our team at The Old Vicarage, our warm and nurturing children’s residential home. We are located in Swinderby, nine miles from Lincoln, within four acres, and celebrate the richness and diversity of childhood.
About the Role
As a Night Practitioner, you will play an essential role in providing consistent and compassionate care throughout the night. Each shift brings new opportunities to support and connect with the young people in our home.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing personal care during the evening and nighttime routines, including toileting, bathing, and dressing—always with dignity and respect.
* Building and maintaining trusting, positive relationships with the young people we support.
* Attending to each child’s physical, emotional, behavioral, and cultural needs, ensuring their care plans are up-to-date and reflective of their evolving needs.
* Creating a stable, nurturing, and safe environment that prioritizes health, wellbeing, and personal development.
* Supporting with general household duties to maintain a warm, clean, and welcoming home.
About You / Qualifications
* A genuine passion for care and to be motivated by contributing to the progression of others.
* A strong team player.
* Resilient and confident to ask for support as needed.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Computer literacy.
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or a willingness to complete this within the first 2 years of employment.
