Maths Teacher
Location: Thanet, Kent
Salary: £120 – £250 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time
Start Date: After Easter 2026
Are you a passionate and committed Maths Teacher looking for a new opportunity in Thanet starting after the Easter break? GSL Education Kent are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a supportive secondary school where high-quality teaching and strong student outcomes are a priority.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Maths Teacher who is confident teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that help students develop strong mathematical understanding and confidence.
Key Responsibilities for the Maths Teacher:
• Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
• Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
• Support pupils of varying abilities through differentiated teaching strategies
• Fulfil the full responsibilities expected of a Maths Teacher, including planning and marking
Requirements for the Maths Teacher:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
• Experience teaching Maths within UK secondary schools
• Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
• A passion for helping students achieve success in mathematics
• An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
