Purchasing Manager
Location: Hybrid (Office/WFH)
Salary: £45,000 / €55,000 + bonus (negotiable based on experience)
About the Role:
Noel Group are seeking a proactive and commercially driven Purchasing Manager to lead the Procurement for one of our client's based in Louth. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a pivotal role in managing supplier partnerships, developing purchasing strategies, and supporting business growth. Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the Procurement operations across the business.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, pricing, and delivery schedules.
* Identify new product opportunities and implement innovative sourcing strategies.
* Attend industry trade shows to ensure our product offering remains competitive and aligned with customer needs.
* Oversee inventory management, ensuring quality standards and stock requirements are consistently met.
* Prepare accurate cost estimates and manage budgets effectively.
* Drive improvements in procurement processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Requirements:
* A qualification in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
* Proven experience in procurement, preferably within retail, distribution, or a fast-paced environment.
* Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* A solutions-focused, agile mindset with excellent project management skills.
* Exceptional communication skills and a strong ability to engage and influence stakeholders across the business.
* Solid systems experience is essential; Sage experience is highly desirable.
* CIPS qualifications would be an advantage.
