Veritas Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Sports Coaches to work within primary and secondary schools in the Kirklees area. Whether you're a recent Sports Science graduate, an experienced coach, or looking to transition into education, we want to hear from you!
Role Overview
As a Sports Coach, you will:
Deliver high-quality PE and sports sessions across a range of schools
Support students in developing physical fitness, teamwork, and confidence
Assist with lunchtime, after-school clubs, or intervention groups
Promote healthy lifestyles and positive behaviour through sport
Work alongside teaching staff to engage hard-to-reach learners
Contribute to school life and enrichment activities
We're looking for someone who:
Has experience coaching children or young people (schools, clubs, academies, etc.)
Holds a relevant coaching qualification (e.g., Level 2+ in Football, Rugby, Netball, etc.)
Has excellent communication and motivational skills
Is confident working with groups of children across different key stages
Is adaptable, proactive, and able to manage behaviour effectively
Possesses or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check
