Position: 1-1 SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Redditch
Pay: £90 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30-3:30
Key Responsibilities
* Personalised Support: Deliver 1-1 assistance tailored to the student's specific EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan).
* Collaboration: Work alongside the Class Teacher and SENDCo to track progress and adapt learning materials.
* Inclusive Environment: Help foster a calm, inclusive, and positive classroom atmosphere.
* Behavioral Support: Use de-escalation techniques and positive reinforcement to manage complex needs.
Requirements
* Experience: Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND (ASC, ADHD, SEMH, or SLD) is highly preferred.
* Communication: A compassionate nature and the ability to build quick rapport with students.
* Qualifications: Relevant TA qualifications (Level 2 or 3) are a plus, but a "can-do" attitude and relevant experience are essential.
* Compliance: You must hold an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
