Job Description
Technical Author
Location: Reading, client site-based, 4-day week
Security Clearance Required: DV & Sole UK national
Position Type: Outside IR35, Inside IR35, and staff opportunities available
We seek multiple Technical Authors to support our major client in Reading.
Your Responsibilities:
* Produce technical product specifications supporting design activities (drawings, specifications, process flows, MIs, etc.)
* Create and maintain Design History Files using Siemens Teamcenter
* Assist in procuring tooling and equipment
* Act as checker/peer reviewer for the design team to ensure high-quality technical output

Qualifications
Candidate Profile:
* Degree in a STEM discipline
* Proficiency in IT, including office software and engineering tools such as NX and Teamcenter
* Experience in a nuclear safety-regulated environment
* Knowledge of nuclear safety principles (DSA03-DNSR)
Additional Information
Security Clearance: The role requires DV clearance. The successful candidate must be a sole UK national due to the nature of the work and asset protection.
