Security Guard Job Description
Security Guard Job Duties:
* A full patrol of site is to be carried out across both internally and externally
* To manage access and egress to prevent unauthorised access
* Security officer to support the onsite supervisor for adhoc requests
* To deter unlawful activity and any security breaches
* To offer advice / assistance staff and visitors
* Protect the premises, property and personnel from theft, damage and violence.
* Patrol the site and buildings to prevent fire, flood, theft and damage.
* Provide first aid response.
* Operating, monitoring and responding to installed security and safety systems including
* Production of incident reports.
* Comply with and operate site security instructions and policies.
* Incident Response
* To deter unauthorised activity throughout the site.
* Issue and log keys; ensure their security and safe return after use.
* Operating, monitoring and responding to installed security and safety systems including CCTV, access control, intruder and fire alarms.
* Maintaining a log of occurrences.
* Production of incident reports.
* Checking of fire fighting equipment.
Health and Safety Responsibilities·
* Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
* Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment.
* Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
Security Guard Skills and Qualifications:
Must hold a valid SIA Licence:
* Door supervisor or Security Guarding License
* CCTV License
Experience
* Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Computer literate
* Knowledge of technical security measures including CCTV and access control
* A strong ability to motivate self and Team.

Working hours
· 13:00-21:00 Tuesday and Thursdays.
· £13.45 ph
· 16 hour contract, additional work available.
