Location: Hybrid Working – Must be flexible and able to travel between Verwood and Kemble sites as required. Office days will be Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays, with travel between both sites required, but only one day per week.

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 (Dependent on experience, skills, and qualifications)

About the Role:

As a SEA Traffic Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving, analyzing, and optimizing web traffic to ensure a top-notch user experience while achieving business goals. This role requires close collaboration with other commercial teams, including marketing, category management, supply chain, and IT, to develop strategies that enhance website visibility, traffic, and conversions. You’ll report directly to the Head of Digital at a local level, with a dotted line to the Acquisition/Traffic Management Lead at the group level.

Key Responsibilities:

Traffic Strategy Development:

1. Create and execute a strategic plan to achieve targeted e-commerce growth across multiple websites.
2. Work seamlessly with local marketing teams and group functions to drive results.
3. Web Acquisition Oversight:
4. Manage various aspects of web acquisition, including SEA, affiliation, and retargeting.
5. Collaborate with colleagues focusing on SEO and social media channels.
6. Traffic Analysis and Reporting:
7. Monitor and analyse web traffic using tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush.
8. Generate regular, detailed reports on traffic performance, user behaviour, and conversion rates.
9. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to boost traffic and user engagement.
10. Content Strategy and Management:
11. Partner with the content team to develop and optimise engaging web content.
12. Ensure all content aligns with SEO best practices and the overall marketing strategy.

Campaign Management:

13. Plan, execute, and monitor web traffic campaigns, including social media and affiliation.
14. Track and analyse campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments as necessary.
15. Key Performance Indicators:
16. Web Turnover, Traffic, and Conversion Rate
17. Traffic Generation: Organic vs Paid, Bounce Rate
18. SEA Budget Management
19. Onsite Transactions and Average Order Value

Key Competencies:

Digital Marketing Expertise:

20. Solid understanding of digital marketing principles and strategies.
21. Proficiency in managing PPC campaigns on platforms like Google Ads and Bing Ads.

Analytical Skills:

22. Ability to utilise analytics tools to track and measure campaign performance.
23. Capability to analyse market trends and consumer behaviour to inform strategies.

Campaign Planning and Execution:

24. Skill in developing and executing impactful advertising campaigns.
25. Results-oriented with a strong focus on ROI.
26. Organisational and Leadership Skills:
27. Organised, rigorous, and autonomous.
28. Proven ability to manage agency relationships and influence at all levels.

SEO Knowledge:

29. Understanding of SEO strategies to complement SEA efforts.
30. Communication and Networking:
31. Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively.
32. Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.

Driven and Innovative:

Languages:

34. Fluent English (French is a bonus)
