Overview
We are looking for an experienced Multi-skilled Engineer – Electrical Bias to work with Mitie clients to provide a multi-skilled maintenance service covering electrical, mechanical and instrumentation disciplines. The role includes reactive and proactive maintenance to all operational equipment and to complete required paperwork, reports, and KPI targets.
Responsibilities
* Carry out modifications and installations as required.
* Maintain, repair, and calibrate electrical, mechanical and instrumentation plant to optimize reliability and maintainability.
* Provide a service that meets key performance indicators and liaise with contractors or external suppliers when required.
* Complete required paperwork and produce reports accurately and on time.
* Work to high standards in line with company policies and procedures and report any deficiencies in systems of work or equipment that may affect service delivery, health and safety, or the environment.
* Ensure your own work and the work of others under supervision is completed in a safe and diligent manner.
Qualifications
* Appropriate up-to-date training such as NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance (multi-discipline).
* Good knowledge of building Statutory Compliance.
* Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills and effective verbal and written communication.
* Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment as per the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974).
* Willingness to undertake suitable training to achieve required skills.
