Our client is an award winning, independent UK sausage and burger manufacturer who operate in North Yorkshire.
We are looking for reliable and ambitious Mixing Operator's on a temporary to permanent basis.
Main Duties:
* Maintain a clean and tidy mixing room
* De boxing meat, taking off plastic from frozen meat.
* Record all batch codes and label mixes correctly
* Wear appropriate PPE for the product in use
* Adhere to all health & safety procedures when using machinery or knives
* Report issues or equipment damage to the line manager
* Complete required paperwork and checks
* Ensure segregation between meat and veg products
* Take responsibility for issued knives
* Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Previous food production experience is a plus (training provided)
Essential:
* Flexible and willing to work extra hours during busy periods
* Full UK driving license
Hours & Benefits:
* Monday to Friday, approx. 40 hours/week core 08.00 - 17.30 (the successful candidate must be flexible to work additional hours).
