What does a Software Engineer do?
As a Software Engineer, you are part of an agile team helping to deliver world-class customer facing products in one of our Delivery teams. You will undertake a variety of tasks (analysis, estimating, design, coding, testing, prototyping) to support the team in the delivery of their ongoing sprint goals.
Key responsibilities

* on front end development, learning new languages/tools and deepening your skillset

* a commitment to deliver high quality well tested software as part of an agile team

* part of an out of hours support rota to ensure that the applications, systems and services in your area run smoothly at all times
Essential skills and experience
* minimum of 2-3 years experience as a software engineer
* industry standard principles (SOLID, clean code)
* of Azure Cloud
* Core / .NET 6+
* Framework (version 3.5+) and C#
* * Server (T-SQL, Stored Procedures)
* Test Framework (NUnit, MSTest, or xUnit.net), Integration Testing
* frameworks (e.g. Moq)
* Control, Build and Deployment Tools (Azure DevOps)
* (Scrum, Kanban) or DevOps environment experience, TDD/Unit Testing, CI/CD
* activities to include automation & system testing
Additional skills and experience
It would be great if you already have:
* of application design in a micro-service architecture (considering security and infrastructure)
* Cloud (Networking, Storage, Kubernetes, App Services, API Manager, Monitoring)
* understanding of DevSecOps
* API (RESTful)
* Frameworks (e.g. Azure Service Bus)
* frameworks (e.g. AngularJS, KnockoutJS)
* (Cosmos Db)
* Technology (NHibernate or Entity Framework)
* SSIS and SSRS
* * Selenium, Cypress, Splunk
* with frontend software Blazor, React
