Job responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive face-to-face assessments for ADHDand Autism in adults and children.
- Utilise standardised diagnostic tools and clinicalinterviews to evaluate patients.
- Provide clear, evidence-based diagnoses and communicatethem effectively to patients and their families.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans incollaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
- Offer follow-up consultations and ongoing support tomonitor patient progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records inaccordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in team meetings, case discussions, andcontinuous professional development activities.
- Stay informed about the latest research andadvancements in ADHD and Autism care.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* - Medical degree with full GMC registration
* - CCT in Psychiatry, with a special interest or experience in ADHD and Autism
* - Proven experience in diagnosing and managing ADHD and Autism in a clinical setting
* - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* - Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a diverse caseload
* - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* - Commitment to patient-centred care and evidence-based practice
