The Role
As a Financial Planning Administrator, you will provide essential support to our financial planners and paraplanners. This role involves managing client service administration and ensuring smooth operations across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
* Schedule and coordinate client meetings.
* Process new business submissions, ensuring compliance and accurate documentation.
* Maintain and update CRM and confidential financial planning records.
* Act as the first point of contact for client queries and liaise with third-party providers.
* Prepare client review reports and recommendation documents.
* Manage letters of authority, policy information requests, fund switches, and transfers.
* Support marketing, projects, client communications, and general office administration.
Note: We are currently based near Bridgnorth, but moving to new office premises on Shrewsbury Business Park (target date March 2026).
Requirements
About You
You are organised, proactive, and professional, with a passion for delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. Honest and loyal with good interpersonal skills. A strong team player who is focussed on building relationships and getting results.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Ideally, a minimum of 2 years’ experience in wealth management, financial planning or financial administration.
* Strong understanding of financial planning, pensions, investments and protection products.
* Excellent administrative and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* A sound understanding of compliance
* Experience of using platforms and financial planning software.
Desirable:
* Experience with tools such as O&M, Morningstar, SelectAPension, and financial platforms (e.g., Quilter, Transact, 7IM).
* Familiarity with cashflow modelling tools (Cashcalc, Voyant).
* Prior experience producing pension/investment illustrations and suitability letters.
* A level 3 qualification or a willingness to study for professional qualifications.
* Full driving licence.
