Overview
Housekeeping Supervisor position at Argyles Care Home, Pound Street, Newbury, RG14 6AE. Salary £12.35 - £13.35 per hour depending on experience. Permanent contract – 32.5 hours. Shifts – Days – 08:30 to 15:00.
Argyles has an experienced team of registered nurses and carers who provide nursing, residential, convalescence, respite, palliative and Parkinson's care. The home environment is designed to be comfortable and inviting, with lounges, gardens and en-suite bedrooms that can be personalised. Meals are prepared to meet dietary needs and personal preferences, with regular activities and events for residents.

Responsibilities
You’ll help us make health happen by:
* Always ensuring high standards of cleanliness within the home, working closely with the maintenance and management teams to ensure every room is well looked after
* Leading by example with vacuuming, mopping, polishing and upkeep of communal areas and residents’ bedrooms
* Supervising housekeeping and laundry assistants, managing staff rotas, training needs, and ensuring housekeeping and domestic items are in stock or replenished
Key Skills / Qualifications
You’ll have experience in a housekeeping role, consistently delivering high standards and taking pride in an organized environment. Strong communication skills to confidently lead and motivate a team, with the ability to work independently, prioritise and delegate tasks. An approachable and caring nature to engage with residents and collaborate with other teams.
