About the role We're looking for Trainee Solicitor to join our Legal team in our Leeds Head Office. As a Trainee Solicitor you will be assisting in the delivery of in-house legal services with the support of our Head of Legal Services and Senior Solicitor Manager. You will be providing legal and regulatory advice and support as well as undertaking the requisite training and development in role to qualify as a solicitor at the end of the training contract period. What will you bring to the role? We're looking for someone who can demonstrate: Law Degree (minimum 2:1). Successfully completed the (LPC) Legal Practice Course. Legal and/or regulatory experience within a financial service setting preferred but not essential. Regulatory experience (specifically dealing with MCOB, ICOBs, COBS and BCOBs) would be preferred. The ability to review legal and regulatory documentation and translate into an easy-to-understand narrative. Strong attention to detail, good organisational and time management skills.
