Pay Range: £165 £250 per day
Working Hours: 8:00am 4:00pm
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a English Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Salisbury. This full-time position is available to start immediately and will run until December 2025, with the possibility of continuing through to July 2026.
You ll be teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4 within a supportive and collaborative department that values creativity, teamwork, and high-quality teaching. The role would suit a passionate teacher who enjoys inspiring young people and helping them to develop a love for language and literature.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Teaching English to students across KS3 and KS4
* Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that challenge and motivate learners
* Assessing and tracking student progress to ensure strong outcomes
* Working collaboratively with a dedicated English department to share ideas and resources
* Contributing to the wider life of the school, including enrichment and extracurricular opportunities

What We’re Looking For
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Recent experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4
* Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for English literature and language
* A reflective and motivated teacher dedicated to high standards of teaching and learning
* A team player who values working collaboratively within a supportive environment
