Location: Inverness (with UK travel)
Rate: to £23/hr (c.£45,000 pro rata)
Hours: Monday-Friday 40 hours per week
Grafton Recruitment is working on behalf of a large manufacturing organization to recruit an experienced procurement professional to manage the procurement process for their Inverness manufacturing and assembly site. This is a 12-month temporary role with travel requirements to other sites and suppliers.
Responsibilities:
* Manage buying of materials for the site.
* Sourcing products and managing supplier relationships.
* Placing purchase orders and expediting materials.
* Ensuring timely delivery and quality of materials.
* Liaising with local site colleagues regarding production plans.
* Collaborating with the broader UK and international procurement teams to ensure procurement strategy adherence.
Requirements:
* Experience in procurement, preferably with manufacturing materials.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
* Excellent commercial acumen and analytical skills.
