Linde Material Handling offers challenging careers across the UK. We want to hear how this role can fit into your career path.
We’re looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our team in the Cumbia/Penrith area, ideally living in Cumbria.
We look for vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers with experience as a forklift technician, plant fitter, plant technician, vehicle technician or similar. Experience with plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles or industrial cleaners is a plus.
You will be required to find, diagnose and rectify faults, and undertake preventive maintenance on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites.
A message from one engineer to another: Linde’s hours suit my lifestyle and offer a better work/life balance. In my previous role I worked shifts with weekends and nights, making family time difficult. Annual leave required booking a year in advance, and bank holidays were a requirement. Great salary, door‑to‑door payment and strong team support.
