Job Title: Family Solicitor (Private) Location: Bolton PQE: N/A - open to suitable experience Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (1-hour lunch) Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience About the Role We are working on behalf of a well-established family law team based in Bolton who are looking for a Private Law Solicitor to join their busy department. This role is ideal for someone experienced in private family law who wants to run their own mixed caseload, including divorce and finances, children matters, and domestic violence cases. This is a hands-on role where you will manage your cases from start to finish, conduct advocacy where required, and work closely with a supportive team. The position does involve travel to courts and other offices, so candidates must have access to a car. Key Responsibilities Manage your own private family law caseload independently Handle a mix of Legal Aid and private work across all areas of family law Conduct advocacy in court and act as first point of contact for clients Use case management systems effectively and maintain accurate records Work collaboratively with the team to deliver a high standard of client service Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will have: Experience in private family law Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Good IT skills and case management experience Excellent communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach Ability to work both independently and as part of a team A friendly, approachable manner Why Apply?
