Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Yorkshire and East Midlands for an Asbestos Consultant. The primary responsibilities include conducting asbestos air testing, asbestos surveys, offering professional guidance on compliance with regulations, preparing detailed technical reports, and ensuring safe environmental practices. The role requires collaboration with clients to assess risks, provide tailored recommendations, and implement asbestos management plans effectively. The consultant will also liaise with team members and stakeholders to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications
* Experience in conducting asbestos surveys and preparing detailed and accurate technical reports
* Knowledge of asbestos management regulations and proficiency in providing compliance guidance
* Proficiency in risk assessment, planning, and implementation of asbestos control measures
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and team members
* Attention to detail and the ability to work diligently in a regulatory-driven environment
* Relevant certifications, such as P402, P403, or P404, are highly desirable
* Understanding of health and safety requirements related to environmental and building compliance
* Valid UK driver's license and willingness to travel locally for site visits
* Overtime and weekend working a possibility
* Potential to work away from for small periods of time
