ADVERT Team Leader, Training, Western Isles (8071) 37 hours Per Week, Permanent Position £3 8, 452 to £ 42,465 per annum, inclusive of £2,859 Distant Islands Allowance per annum The Team Leader will oversee the Employability and Developing the Young Workforce programmes, holding responsibility for the quality assurance and delivery of Scottish Qualifications. managing the delivery, outcomes, accreditation and quality assurance of all programmes the Centre is contracted to deliver. The Team Leader will co-ordinate, support, develop, implement, and monitor all training, learning, assessment, and verification in relation to these outcomes. The Team Leader will have management responsibility for their teams and for co-ordinating and quality assuring all work undertaken. Knowledge of all aspects of the delivery of training programmes is essential along with experience in the Training, Mentoring and Counselling of Young People. It is essential that you have good organisational skills, excellent communications skills, the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure. You must hold a current UK driving licence. You will hold an Assessor/Verifier Qualification or be willing and able to gain qualification within 6 months of undertaking post. A qualification at HND level or SVQ Level 3 in a related discipline is required along with up to date and evidencable Continual Professional Development (CPD) and demonstratable relevant work experience. This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with protected adults and children. Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance. Appointment to the post will be on the first point of grade with annual incremental progression.
