About The Role
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Front of House Supervisor at The Three Horseshoes, Asthall. As a supervisor, you will lead service standards and support wider business objectives, reporting to the General Manager and working alongside operational teams.
You will manage a small team; previous leadership experience is advantageous. You should be a natural leader, sharing your F&B experience and knowledge. You will also act as an ambassador for The Bamford Collection, which includes Daylesford Organic, Daylesford Stays, and Bamford.
Salary & Hours
Salary: £13.25 per Hour + tronc
Hours: Part Time - 30 Hours
Responsibilities
1. Provide excellent service to guests and residents.
2. Ensure the restaurant, pub, and garden are prepared daily, maintaining standards and delegating tasks.
3. Drive sales by making recommendations and increasing average spend per head.
4. Maintain full menu knowledge, including allergens, and provide detailed descriptions and recommendations.
5. Lead and motivate the front of house team for seamless service.
6. Manage restaurant operations effectively, maximizing table turnover.
7. Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams on food and beverage development.
8. Plan staffing needs, prepare schedules, and manage holiday cover.
9. Ensure accurate transactions, including floats, banking, and cash reconciliation.
10. Address health & safety matters proactively.
11. Deliver the 'REAL The Horseshoes experience' and promote social and environmental responsibility aligned with our sustainability vision.
Skills & Qualifications
1. Experience in leading service standards and supporting business objectives.
2. Ability to lead a team and act as a role model.
3. Share knowledge and experience from F&B career.
