Overview
We are looking to expand the team, adding a senior carer to our day shifts.
The right person will need to have an understanding of running shifts, administration medications, documentation using a digital system.
Staff will be trin=ed and inducted into the role.
Duties
* Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, assisting with food and fluid
* Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive environment.
* Administer medication as prescribed and monitor residents for any changes in health status.
* Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
* Maintain accurate records of patient care activities and report any concerns to Manager/healthcare professionals.
* Engage in behaviour management techniques as required for residents with dementia or Alzheimer's care.
Skills
* Driving licence required
* Experience in care homes is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of medical terminology related to senior care and patient care practices.
* Familiarity with Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and hospice care principles.
* Strong communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare teams.

Pay: £13.00 per hour
