Requirements
Must have:
- Experience as an Integration Engineer, Automation Engineer, or similar position - Hands-on experience with customer engagement or automation platforms such as Intercom, Zendesk, Braze, Twilio, Vonage, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar - Good knowledge of APIs and Webhooks, configuration-driven systems, versioning, and change management - Ability to script (or code) using JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python - Experience testing and validating automation logic and deployment safety in SaaS environments - Background in regulated or compliance-based environments - Strong collaboration and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Act as the technical authority for the newly formed customer engagement team - Collaborate with marketing and specialists across voice, chatbots, digital messaging, and service automation - Establish strong engineering discipline and change safety across customer engagement platforms - Implement controls, standards, and processes to ensure scalability and robustness of systems - Define the boundary between engineering-led automation and RPA-driven optimization in partnership with the Head of Continuous Improvement & RPA - Shape modern customer engagement capabilities while driving best practices and promoting innovation
