Job Description
A Health & Safety Consultancy specialising in Construction H&S is looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to take responsibility for compliance on sites, including risk assessments, investigating accidents, and creating/implementing policies. Along with a salary of up to £55,000 per annum, you will also receive a hybrid vehicle and private healthcare. As a Health & Safety Advisor, you will work from home one day per week, with time spent attending sites in Hertfordshire, M25, and London, as well as occasional overnight stays in other regions.
With over 30 years of experience and considerable expertise in fast-track retail refurbishments and construction-related projects, the company offers a flexible and dynamic service to meet clients' needs. They have worked with leading retailers and pub operators, providing "fast-track" retail construction safety solutions based on experience, specialisation, professionalism, and practical on-site solutions.
The company has strategically located field-based staff across the country, ensuring nationwide coverage. We are looking for a Health & Safety Advisor with:
1. NEBOSH Construction Certificate or above
2. A minimum Tech IOSH
3. Experience in the construction industry
4. Skills in Health & Safety, Occupational Health, and Accident Investigation
5. Experience in Safety Training and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS)
6. Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
8. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
10. Good IT skills
11. Full driving license and willingness to travel
