As a Head Housekeeper, you will ensure that you and the housekeeping team maintain a spotless environment for our residents. You will manage the cleaning rota, lead by example, plan weekly laundry, order cleaning supplies, and stay updated on infection control procedures, always prioritizing residents' wellbeing.
We are looking for an experienced Head Housekeeper with proven leadership, record keeping, and time management skills. Knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations, as well as infection control, is essential. Your positive energy and ability to get along with people are crucial. You should communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond. All staff are required to attend safeguarding training and undertake additional related training. You should be able to seek advice and escalate concerns when necessary.
