Carter Rolan Group is looking to hire a Management Accountant for a manufacturing client.
Responsibilities
* Prior background in any type of Manufacturing/Industrial is preferred.
* A strong candidate who can act independently, taking a strong lead with minimal supervision.
* Candidate will lead the management accounts function.
* Sage 200 or similar is preferred.
* ACCA, CIMA or similar.
* Strong business partnering background.
* Understand the mechanics of BOM’s, variance analysis, budgeting, cost analysis, forecasting, etc.
* To champion the rolling forecast process to provide realistic forecasts of business/site performance with clear and aligned processes and PIPs in place.
* Monitor and report on budget performance, providing insights and recommendations.
* Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to prepare detailed costings.
* Assist in the preparation of the commercial annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
* Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual commercial reports for circulation to the leadership team.
* Commercial Appraisal - Ensure that commercial proposals are robustly appraised, using sound assumptions and reflect the likely/range of possible outcomes.
* Someone who understands the manufacturing environment.
* Highly numerate and literate.
* High level of attention to detail.
* Excellent Excel and IT skills.
* Professional attitude.
* Stability and longevity within a company.
Qualifications
Education related to Accounting/Finance is preferred.

Pay Range and Compensation Package
£45K to £55K.
