The Skylark Federation – Individual Needs Assistant (SEN Focus) Location: Barcombe CE Primary School The Skylark Federation is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and committed Individual Needs Assistant (INA) to join our welcoming and friendly team at Barcombe CE Primary School. This rewarding role will primarily involve working closely with a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN) within our Year 2/3 mixed aged class. You will be supporting the child’s learning and development by helping to create a nurturing, inclusive environment where they can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. The successful candidate will: Work as part of the class team to deliver engaging learning experiences tailored to the child’s individual needs and interests. Collaborate closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals to ensure consistent and effective support. Be patient, compassionate, and adaptable in responding to the child's needs throughout the school day. Liaise effectively with parents/carers and colleagues to promote the child’s well-being, learning, and progress. Full training and ongoing support will be provided to ensure the successful candidate feels confident in delivering high-quality SEN support.
