Job Title: 1:1 TEACHING ASSISTANT GRADE 2 PLUS SEN ALLOWANCE Salary: £19,317 - £19,606 Hours: 30 hours 8.30am to 3pm Monday to Friday (30 minute lunch break) Location: Harvington C of E First & Nursery, Village Street, Harvington, Evesham WR11 8NQ Fixed term: Linked to specific children We have an opportunity for a confident, self-motivated, enthusiastic teaching assistant to support two children within the school setting. The successful candidate will be able to: Have an understanding of safeguarding practices and procedures, ensuring the welfare of the children Support the Christian ethos of our school Demonstrate a good level of English and Maths, with GCSE qualification graded A-C, or equivalent Confidently follow planning and adapt, where necessary, to support children’s individual needs. Have some experience in delivering intervention programmes for groups and individuals Be a team player, who is committed to their own professional development Your responsibilities will include: Supporting two children within the classroom to access the curriculum Carrying out specific interventions linked to EHCP targets Motivating and encouraging the children to thrive in and around school A commitment to the full life of the school is expected and in return the successful applicant will be welcomed and supported by a friendly team.
