Job Description
* Prepare and review financial statements for a variety of clients.
* Assist with VAT returns and tax computations.
* Maintain client records and ensure compliance with accounting regulations.
* Provide support and guidance to junior team members as needed.
* Communicate with clients to address queries and provide financial insights.
* Contribute to the preparation of management accounts and forecasts.
* Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
* Ensure deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
The Successful Applicant
A successful AAT Accounts Senior should have:
* AAT qualification or equivalent in accounting and finance.
* Previous experience in preparing financial statements and VAT returns.
* Strong knowledge of accounting software and tools.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
