Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Joiner to join our clients production team at their Mirfield manufacturing facility. You will play a key role in crafting the internal and external joinery components of our modular buildings, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, durability, and finish. Key Responsibilities Perform all aspects of joinery work including framework, stud walls, door fitting, skirting, architraves, windows, and internal finishing. Work from technical drawings and production specifications to build units to precise requirements. Carry out timber cutting, assembly, and installation using a range of hand and power tools. Install modular components including doors, windows, panels, and partitions. Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and site procedures at all times. Collaborate closely with production supervisors, electricians, plumbers, and other trades. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company quality standards. Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Skills & Experience Required NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent trade qualification). Proven experience in a joinery role, ideally in a modular or off-site construction environment. Strong knowledge of wood properties, joinery materials, and installation techniques. Ability to read and interpret construction and assembly drawings accurately. Skilled in the safe use of joinery tools and machinery. A proactive, team-oriented mindset with good attention to detail. Full UK driving licence (preferred).
