Project Manager (Control Panels) - Ballymena An experienced Project Manager is required to join a leading automation and control systems specialist. The successful candidate will oversee control panel projects from tender through to delivery, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with proven experience in the tendering, design, and management of electrical control systems projects across industrial and commercial sectors. About the role: Up to £50,000 per annum (DOE) Monday to Friday Company pension scheme Free on-site parking Opportunities for professional development and progression Permanent role What you'll be doing in this role: Manage the full project lifecycle from initial enquiry and tender submission through to delivery, testing, and client handover. Prepare and review project tenders, quotations, and technical documentation. Coordinate with design, procurement, and production teams to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to project timelines. Oversee the design and manufacture of electrical control panels, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and specifications. Liaise with clients to clarify requirements, resolve technical queries, and provide regular progress updates. Monitor budgets, resource allocation, and procurement to maintain project cost efficiency. Review and approve project documentation, including drawings, BOMs, and test reports. Ensure all projects adhere to company quality, safety, and compliance procedures. What you'll need for this role: Proven experience as a Project Manager or Project Engineer within an automation, electrical engineering, or control panel manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of control panel design, wiring, and assembly processes. Experience managing tendering and estimating for electrical control systems projects. Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
