Client Manager - Accountancy Practice

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced accountant to join a growing firm as a Client Manager. This role is ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their career, managing a portfolio of clients and providing high-quality compliance and advisory services.

Responsibilities
* Preparation and filing of year-end accounts, business tax, and capital allowances for a range of clients, including limited companies, LLPs, partnerships, and sole traders.
* Preparation and filing of Self-Assessment and personal tax returns.
* Preparation and submission of Capital Gains Tax computations.
* Assisting with the implementation of R&D tax claims within company accounts and tax returns.
* Ensuring compliance work is completed within set deadlines.
* Reviewing year-end accounts and tax computations prior to final sign-off.
* Outsourcing and Advisory Work
* Managing a portfolio of bookkeeping, VAT, and management accounts clients.
* Reviewing periodic bookkeeping, VAT returns, and management accounts.
* Preparing and reviewing P11D returns.
* Preparing management information and financial analysis.
* Preparing financial projections, budgets, and business plans.
* Management and Practice Development
* Supporting Directors and Senior Client Managers in managing a client portfolio.
* Training and developing junior team members.
* Assisting with the development of cloud accounting services and supporting applications.
* Supporting the billing process and credit control.
* Keeping client details up to date.
* Using TaxCalc, Xero, and other cloud-based accounting software.
* Assisting with onboarding new clients.
* Attending client meetings alongside senior management.
Requirements
* A minimum of five years' experience in an accountancy practice.
* Ideally AAT or ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience.
