Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Experienced Fostering Support and Supervision Social Worker, based in Liverpool. The Social Worker will be responsible for providing support and supervision services for our foster carers, assessing needs, and developing care plans. Tasks include managing cases, collaborating with agencies to provide appropriate interventions, safeguarding vulnerable individuals, and documenting all actions in compliance with legal and policy frameworks.
Qualifications
* Strong skills in case management, assessment, and care planning
* Proficiency in safeguarding and fostering practices and knowledge of relevant laws and policies
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
* Collaboration and partnership-building skills for working with various agencies and stakeholders
* Time management and organizational capabilities to handle multiple cases efficiently
* Proven ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
* A recognized qualification in Social Work and registration with SWE
* Prior experience in children's social work and fostering is expected; experience in local government is beneficial
