Job Title: Service Coordinator
A fulfilling and exciting opportunity has become available for a support worker (Service Coordinator) in our young person's service in Oadby, Leicestershire. The young people in our service may have left foster care, care homes, experienced family breakdowns, or may be seeking asylum, and require a robust support network around them to empower them to gain independence.

Purpose of the role:
* You will be a vital member of the team, guiding young people to gain confidence and necessary skills to move on to independent accommodation. This includes developing and delivering nurturing, person-centered support tailored to each individual's needs.
* You will help them acquire skills such as budgeting, maintaining their accommodation, cooking, making safe choices, looking after their mental and physical health, engaging in education, and fulfilling their potential.
* The support should assist young people in overcoming barriers and learning skills towards independence.
* The post holder must be empathetic, knowledgeable, and professional in understanding the specific needs of young people transitioning into adulthood.
* You will contribute to maintaining and developing the Association’s values, culture, and ethos.
