About the role
Drakes Supermarkets is seeking a driven Stock Controller to join our team at our Brave DC. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient inventory management and supply chain operations for our growing supermarket business.
What you'll be doing
Coordinate stock purchasing from suppliers to maximise service levels
Forecast and plan for promotional activity and demand fluctuations
Monitor and manage stock holding, ensuring minimal waste and aged inventory
Work within defined stock parameters while supporting business goals
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, warehouse teams, and category managers
Provide product and market insights to support strategic decisions
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a similar role within supply chain, logistics, or wholesale
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent time management and organisational ability
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication
