As our IT Project Manager (Facilities Infrastructure) you will be developing, elaborating, and managing IT project estimates and budgets. What you will be doing: You will take full responsibility for the definition, documentation and completion of multi-year Facilities IT projects spanning infrastructure and system deployments. Be identifying, assessing, and managing risks to the success of the project. Developing and managing the IT element of the schedule, including cross-function and cross-supplier dependency management. Ensuring that project quality plans are prepared and maintained and providing regular and accurate reports to stakeholders as appropriate. Ensuring that quality reviews occur on schedule and according to procedure. Managing the change control procedure, and ensuring that project deliverables are completed within planned cost, timescale, and resource budgets, and signed off. Providing effective leadership to the project team, managing escalations, and taking appropriate action were team performance deviates from agreed tolerances. Degree qualified or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline, with chartered status preferred. Demonstrated project leadership in delivering a range and variety of complex technical and/or professional work activities/projects using structured programme methodologies covering technical, financial and quality aspects and ideally involving business transformations. Domain experience in physical IT / accommodation / new facility / shop floor infrastructure deployments. Proven ability to plan, schedule and monitor work to meet time and quality targets. Experience of leading and working in a multi-party environment and managing distributed teams, selecting appropriately from applicable standards, methods, tools and applications. Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences and to maintain an awareness of developing technologies and their application and takes some responsibility for driving own development.
