We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated English Teachers to join our pool of supply teaching staff in the Tavistock area. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love of literature and language while helping pupils achieve their academic goals.
Duties as an English Teacher:
* Plan, prepare and teach high-quality English lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
* Monitor, assess and report on student progress and attainment.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and critical thinking.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support each learner’s development.
Ideal English Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven experience teaching English at secondary level.
* Excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom management skills as English Teacher.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
