Social Care Worker - Personal Assistant / Milton of Campsie
We are looking to recruit a patient, reliable, fun-loving Personal Assistant who can support our physically fit and active 12 year old son who has a learning disability and autism. He has limited verbal communication but is responsive to basic instructions.
Responsibilities
* Support Alex at home and occasionally accompany walks around the local community.
Qualifications and preferences
* Experience of supporting children and young people with additional needs.
* Able to drive and have own transport desirable.
* PVG Scheme membership required by successful applicant.
* Flexible on days/hours; 6 hours per week during the school holidays. We can discuss further with interested applicants (contact number: 0141 776 2219).
