ABOUT THE CONTENT EMPORIUM
At The Content Emporium, we provide high-level plug-in content marketing support to major UK brands. Our 50-strong team delivers strategy, design, CRM, photography, social media, editorial, and motion content across digital and print platforms. With clients including FTSE 100 companies and some of the UK’s best-known shopping centres, our creative output is varied, high-quality, and always evolving.
Our in-house team includes creatives, strategists, content creators, editors and many others, all working together to deliver stand-out content that performs across all formats and channels. We’re now looking for a Senior Designer to join this vibrant, collaborative team.
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Head of Design and sitting in a team under the Creative Director alongside a team of ten talented creatives, this full-time role offers the opportunity to work across multiple formats, from static digital and print design to motion and video editing. The Senior Designer will take the creative lead on a range of projects and be trusted to liaise directly with clients, helping to shape briefs and present design concepts confidently and clearly.
This is not an artworking role. We are looking for a highly creative thinker who is passionate about design and wants to help us produce the best work in the industry.
You’ll be part of a supportive, ideas-driven team with opportunities to upskill, contribute to concept development, and help push the agency’s creative output to new levels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design & Creative Delivery
* Deliver outstanding graphic design work across digital and print, including social media.
* Take ownership of projects from concept to final execution, ensuring high standards throughout.

Motion & Video (Desirable)
* Edit short-form video using Adobe Premiere Pro for social and digital platforms.
* Create simple motion graphics using After Effects or other motion tools.
* Support the team on animation projects, including storyboarding and visual ideation. (Experience in motion is highly desirable but not essential.)
Team Participation & Development
* Support junior designers and other creatives with mentoring or feedback when required.
* Contribute to internal initiatives, such as design inspiration sessions and creative reviews.
* Stay up to date with design trends, platform best practices, and evolving tools including AI tools to support our creativity.
* Be an active, enthusiastic member of the Creative Team.
ABOUT YOU

You will ideally have:
* Experience of at least 4 years working as a designer in an agency or in-house team.
* Advanced skills in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator (Adobe Creative Cloud).
* Experience in video editing and motion graphics (Premiere Pro / After Effects) is highly desirable.
* A compelling portfolio showing a variety of creative design work across digital and print.
* Excellent attention to detail and a real passion for visual storytelling.
* Strong organisational skills, able to manage your own deadlines and workload effectively.
* Collaborative attitude, working with other teams in the agency to output the best work possible
* Confidence liaising with clients and presenting ideas with clarity and purpose.
* A genuine interest in expanding your skills across creative platforms and tools.
