* Respond politely and appropriately to all queries and requests for assistance from patients and visitors
* Check patients in and advise on delays
* Explain practice procedures to new patients or temporary patients.
* Enter requests for home visits on the clinical system
* Action GP requests to call patients from the triage list with an advice or appointment
* signpost patients to other services and healthcare provided
* Ensure tasks are assigned to receptionist and other health care professionals
* Allocate and file results, action out of hours reports
* Ensure emails are read and actioned daily
* Effectively manage own time, workload and resources
* Ensure claims are submitted accurately and in a timely manner.
* Perform rota changes and apply them when required
