*Overview*We are seeking a professional HGV Class 1 HIAB Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods using a flatbed lorry equipped with a HIAB crane. This role involves operating commercial vehicles, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. Candidates must hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence and have experience with flatbed and delivery driving. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers looking to utilise their skills in a dynamic environment.We operate through out the UK including central London. All candidates must be flexible throughout the week. Being away from Sunday to Friday is a possibility in this role.The job involves weekend work, which can range from 2hrs work to a full day, of which candidates will be expected to do their fair share of which will be on a rota basis. Weekend work paid at an increased rate of pay.The vehicle you will be driving will be a DAF XF with manual gearbox and PM65 crane. Experience with both a manual gear box and crane is essential. Any applicant without the relevant experience will not be consideredEarly starts and late finishes are an essential part of the job.If you require any further information please email me on ryan@network-haulage.co.uk*Responsibilities** Safely operate a HGV Class 1 lorry with a HIAB crane for delivery and collection purposes* Load and unload goods using the HIAB crane, ensuring secure handling of items on a flatbed vehicle* Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules whilst adhering to legal driving hours and safety regulations* Conduct pre-journey vehicle inspections and report any defects or issues promptly* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and vehicle logs in compliance with company policies* Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely manner whilst maintaining high standards of customer service* Follow all health and safety procedures during loading, unloading, and driving operations* Assist with general vehicle maintenance and cleanliness as required*Experience** Proven experience as a commercial delivery driver, ideally with flatbed vehicles and HIAB cranes* Valid HGV Class 1 licence with recent driving experience in similar roles* Experience operating flatbed lorries equipped with HIAB cranes is highly desirable* Knowledge of current driving regulations, tachograph rules, and health & safety standards in transportation* Delivery driver experience demonstrating reliability, punctuality, and professionalismThis role is suitable for dedicated drivers who prioritise safety, efficiency, and excellent service delivery.Job Type: Full-timePay: £17.00 per hourBenefits:* On-site parkingWork Location: In person
