Salary: £13,000 - 127,500 per year Requirements: We need strong experience with Microsoft 365 services, administration, and operational support. We need knowledge of Microsoft AI services, including Copilot, Agents, and Copilot Studio, with an interest in emerging intelligent workplace capabilities. We need experience creating and maintaining automation or scripting solutions, such as PowerShell. We need the ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders across the business and communicate technical decisions clearly. We need experience contributing to both project delivery and BAU support activities, managing workload effectively and meeting deadlines. We need advanced troubleshooting capabilities and a proven track record of resolving complex, multi-layered technical issues. We need high proficiency in analysing, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues in high-pressure or time-critical environments. We need excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills across technical teams, business units, and third-party partners. We need demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements, including automation and optimisation. Microsoft certifications such as MS-700 or MS-102 are advantageous. We are based from our IT Hub in Northampton, and this is a permanent full-time role with office attendance required at least 2 days per week. Responsibilities: We design, build, configure, optimise, and maintain solutions using Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, SharePoint Online, Copilot, PowerApps, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Viva Suite, Defender for Office 365, and related modern workplace technologies. We provide subject matter expertise during project meetings, solution design workshops, and technical governance sessions. We translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and supportable Microsoft 365 solutions. We develop and maintain automation scripts, such as PowerShell, to streamline deployment and administration. We support ongoing Modern Workplace operational services, ensuring stability, performance, and continuous improvement. We identify opportunities for performance optimisation, monitoring improvements, and operational enhancements. We proactively track Microsoft product roadmaps, evaluate upcoming features, and assess business or technical impacts of forthcoming changes. We collaborate with Security teams on compliance, audit readiness, DLP, sensitivity labels, insider risk management, and broader governance controls. We manage incidents, problems, and service requests in alignment with ITIL practices, ensuring timely resolution and excellent service quality. We maintain accurate documentation, including runbooks, architectural diagrams, knowledge articles, and change control records.
