A well-established company in the education supplies industry is looking for a Book Binder/ Print Finisher to join its team. As a Book Binder you will be operating and maintaining paper‑conversion machinery while ensuring quality, safety, and smooth workflow throughout the production process.
Book Binder responsibilities:
6. Operate and set up machinery used for paper conversion.
7. Keep equipment running efficiently throughout the shift.
8. Carry out routine maintenance tasks as outlined in the planned schedule.
9. Maintain a clean and organised working area.
10. Perform regular quality inspections to ensure standards are met.
11. Follow instructions carefully to complete each task to the required level.
12. Comply with all Health & Safety guidelines and company procedures at all times.
Skills & experience required:
13. Experience in a similar environment is beneficial but not essential.
14. Able to work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with colleagues.
15. Strong attendance record and reliable timekeeping.
16. Good understanding of paper dimensions and strong accuracy levels.
17. Practical thinker with solid problem‑solving skills and a good general education.
18. Self‑motivated and confident working independently with minimal supervision.
19. Comfortable with manual handling and physically demanding tasks.
20. Must have dependable transport to and from work.
