Role Overview
As the Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst in Belfast, you'll primarily support NantHealth's affiliate company, ImmunityBio, as operations expand beyond the United States. Your responsibilities include monitoring and assessing threats to ImmunityBio’s information systems in real time, responding to security incidents, gathering intelligence, developing reports, and supporting the IT needs of onsite employees in Belfast by responding to support requests and assisting with IT equipment and setups. A successful individual in this role can support multiple security platforms and serve as a resource to the IT security team across locations.
Responsibilities
* Respond effectively to emergency and non-emergency IT security situations
* Participate in efforts to mitigate and investigate security incidents
* Protect enterprise infrastructure through active operation and defense
* Investigate data anomalies to identify suspicious behavior
* Provide IT support for technical needs of employees
* Build and configure IT setups for offices and meeting rooms
* Lead escalated IT support issues
* Mentor and train new IT DSS hires
* Serve as primary contact for special IT projects at the Belfast office, supporting ImmunityBio
Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
* At least 5 years of professional experience in security, including technologies like SIEM, IDS/IPS, AntiVirus, EDR, DLP firewalls, and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
* Experience with threat analysis frameworks such as Cyber Kill Chain, MITRE ATT&CK
* Relevant security certifications (Security+, CISSP, GCIH, etc.)
Skills and Abilities
* Solid understanding of SIEM tools (LogRhythm, Splunk, etc.)
* Knowledge of ITIL, Zero Trust, HITRUST, ISO 27000 frameworks
* Strong ticketing and documentation skills
* Good communication skills with end-users
* Passion for security and innovation
* Team-oriented problem-solving skills

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for Belfast applicants is £45,003 - £70,486, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include:
