In this role, you'll take full ownership of financial operations across two UK entities, with broad responsibility spanning credit control, payroll postings, reporting, reconciliations, and strategic financial analysis to support pricing and capital investment decisions. Description The key responsibilities of the Finance Manager include: Prepare and analyse cost reports to support decision-making processes. Monitor and manage inventory valuation and standard costing procedures. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the accounting and finance department. Provide detailed variance analysis and recommendations for cost control. Hands on duties across transactional finance and payroll postings Collaborate with production teams to review and improve cost efficiency measures. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Support month-end and year-end closing activities, focusing on cost accounting aspects. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial objectives.Profile A successful Finance Manager should have: Proven experience in cost accounting within the industrial and manufacturing industry. A strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
