Our UK Water team is one of the largest in the UK, delivering water and wastewater infrastructure services, drainage design, SuDS, and surface water management. Our clients include water companies, local authorities, highways/rail authorities, and developers across the UK and internationally.
We are seeking entry-level Hydraulic Modellers with good analytical skills and a desire to learn, even if experience is limited.
What you can bring :
* An understanding of the UK water industry, environment, and sustainability, with a desire to apply your skills to environmental challenges.
* Experience in wastewater modelling using InfoWorks ICM.
* A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a goal to attain professional qualifications.
* Good communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Your purpose :
* Develop computer models to investigate flooding and environmental issues and propose solutions.
* Create, verify, and analyze hydraulic sewer models.
* Develop 1D and 2D flood risk models.
* Handle and analyze data.
* Use GIS software (MapInfo, ArcGIS) to understand environmental problems.
* Prepare reports and project deliverables.
* Plan and supervise surveys.
* Support junior team members in solving environmental problems.
